Editorial Note
| This journal upholds the importance of providing multidisciplinary platform to the academicians to express their views in front of readers from various disciplines. In this volume the peer reviewed papers have been incorporated from the disciplines like education, geography, sociology, geography etc. It is supposed that readers will get a chance to traverse through unfamiliar areas and inculcate interest in integrative approach in their own research works. The teachers will be able to gear up their efforts towards multifaceted academic activities by incorporating ideas across subjects. This kind of synthesizing effort may blur the ages old peripheries of the disciplines. The budding researchers from the University of Calcutta recognized Centre for Research, PG Department of Geography, Vivekananda College for Women, Kolkata in particular may be encouraged to come forward with ideas involving allied disciplines while developing themes for their Ph.D. level research works. In the western part of the world the multidisciplinary approach gained ground much earlier but in countries like India the academicians are now realizing the importance of this kind of paradigm shift or else the research works would turn to be outmoded in approach.
